We are facing an epidemic of pornography online of which the repercussions are still not fully understood. In fact it is frightening. With the click of a mouse, anyone, at any age, anytime can view porn online.
Governments are still tangled up by the “it’s a free-speech issue” argument. The porn industry has were able to hold onto the theory that porn is victimless entertainment that involves only an individual and the consenting adults who participate. Porn is teaching negative behaviors and attitudes towards sexuality. Even though for adults this can be a big problem, for children which are seeing it, it is a disaster that can impact their capability to have almost any healthy sexual relationship when they grow up.
